I like my hair. Even as it begins to turn grey (early!), it remains un-damaged by dyes, presses, perms, regular blow-dryer use, excessive product. ... I don't remember how I got the idea, but I was a single-digit age when it first occurred to me to chop it all off and donate my precious braid to Locks of Love. Something about that act was so satisfying that I have been doing it every two or three years since. ...

Hello Rain,

I initially came upon your website searching for the ending of "Secret Agent" (but, didn't find it here). Instead, I found your playground full of fun and interesting info. I wish I had the chance to see Underpass. Will it come back to the SF Bay Area? My 11 yr old daughter is inspired to grow her hair for Locks of Love. If it could only grow faster, we'd save a bundle on shampoo. I'd like to thank you...you've been quite informative and helpful. I admire all the work you do. It's nice to know there are people like you who care and are making a real difference. You are truly an amazing person! =o)
